Mary Turner Bowl - 1st October 2019

Congratulations to all who battled through appalling weather conditions in The Mary Turner Bowl at Whittington. As most other courses were closed, it was only by virtue of Whittington's exceptional drainage capacity, and the diligence of the green staff to move the holes to higher ground, that the competition was able was able to proceed at all.

The results were: 1st Warks 433
                              2nd Satffs 443
                              3rd Worcs 452

Special congratulations need to go to the pairing of Rachel Bishop and Louise Manning who followed up their win last year with an exceptional nett 67 to finish 2nd this time. Well done to everyone for keeping spirits high in very trying conditions.
