Format: 36 Holes – Stroke Play (Medal)

Eligibility: Open to amateur golfers affiliated to clubs within the Staffordshire Union of Golf Clubs (SUGC)

Competition Details
• The Championship will be contested over 36 holes of stroke play in one day.
• All play will be from the white tees.
• Handicap allowance: Scratch (no handicap strokes given).
• Maximum Handicap Index for entry: 18.0
• Caddies are permitted in accordance with England Golf and SUGC regulations.
• Ties for first place will be decided by a sudden-death playoff. Other ties will be resolved by countback (last 18, 9, 6, 3 holes, etc.).
• Prizes: Awarded for Gross scores only. No player may win more than one prize.
• Catering: A meal will be provided after the first 18 holes for all competitors.

Conditions of Entry
1. All players must be amateur members of a golf club affiliated to the Staffordshire Union of Golf Clubs.
2. Players must not have represented another County or taken part in another County’s championship in the previous 12 months.
3. CDH numbers must be provided at entry.
4. Entry closes 3 weeks prior to the event, or earlier if the field is full.
5. In the event of oversubscription, entries will be accepted based on lowest Handicap Index.
