Staffordshire Boys Championship – Entrance Criteria
Format: 36 Holes – Stroke Play (Medal)
Tees: White
Catering: Meal provided after the first 18 holes
Eligibility: Open to junior male golfers affiliated to clubs within the Staffordshire Union of Golf Clubs (SUGC)
Entry Requirements
1. Age Limit:
• Entrants must be under 18 years of age on 1st January of the championship year.
2. Club Affiliation:
• Players must be members of a golf club affiliated to the Staffordshire Union of Golf Clubs (SUGC).
3. Handicap Limit:
• Maximum Handicap Index: 36.0
• All players must have a valid WHS Handicap Index and provide their CDH number at entry.
4. Entry Process:
• Entry must be completed via the official online registration form.
• Entry is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
• Entries close 3 weeks prior to the event, or earlier if the field is full.
5. Field Size & Ballot:
• In the event of oversubscription, entries will be accepted based on lowest Handicap Index at the time of entry.
6. Caddies:
• Caddies are not permitted, in line with England Golf junior competition guidelines.
7. Code of Conduct:
• All players are expected to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship and behaviour throughout the event.
