Format: 18 Holes – Individual Stroke Play (Medal)

Eligibility: Open to junior golfers aged 13 or under on 1st January of the tournament year

Competition Details

• The tournament will be played over 18 holes from the white tees.
• Handicap allowance: 95% of Course Handicap (WHS compliant)
• Maximum Handicap Index: 36.0
• Scoring format: Stroke Play (Medal)
• Ties: Decided by countback (last 9, 6, 3 holes, etc.)
• Prizes: Awarded for Nett and Gross scores. No player may win more than one prize.
• Caddies: Permitted, but must be parent/guardian or club-approved adult. Caddies must not coach during play.
• Pace of Play: Players are expected to maintain a reasonable pace. Marshals may assist with guidance.

Entry Requirements

1. Players must be aged 13 or younger on 1st January of the tournament year.
2. All entrants must be members of a golf club affiliated to the Staffordshire Union of Golf Clubs (SUGC).
3. A valid WHS Handicap Index and CDH number must be provided at entry.
4. Entry must be completed via the official online registration form.
5. Entry is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
6. Entries close 3 weeks prior to the event, or earlier if the field is full.
7. In the event of oversubscription, entries will be accepted based on lowest Handicap Index.

Parental Guidance

• Parents/guardians must ensure players are familiar with basic rules and etiquette.
• Spectators are welcome but must remain outside scoring areas and avoid interfering with play.
