Competition Details
• The championship will be played over 18 holes using the Better Ball Medal format.
• All play will be from the white tees.
• Handicap allowance: 85% of Course Handicap (WHS compliant)
• Maximum Handicap Index: 28.0 per player
• Scoring: Each pair records the better nett score on each hole.
• Ties: Decided by countback (last 9, 6, 3 holes, etc.)
• Prizes:
• Beddows Trophy: Awarded to the pair with the best Nett score
• Centenary Trophy: Awarded to the pair with the best Gross score
• No pair may win both trophies

Conditions of Entry
1. Both players must be amateur members of golf clubs affiliated to the Staffordshire Union of Golf Clubs.
2. Each player must provide a valid WHS Handicap Index and CDH number at entry.
3. Entry must be completed via the official online registration form.
4. Entry is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
5. Entries close 3 weeks prior to the event, or earlier if the field is full.
6. In the event of oversubscription, entries will be accepted based on combined Handicap Index.
