Newcastle was the final venue for the Scheme this year. The course was in superb condition, a credit to both the the club and the greenkeeping staff.

Staffs Men finished third out of ten counties at the England Golf Midland 6 Qualifier held at Gog Magog GC in Cambridgeshire with a 36 hole gross score of 854, some thirteen strokes behind winners Lincolnshire.
